Music Ministry

"Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." – Ephesians 5:19-20

Senior Choir

The choir provides musical leadership and anthems during the worship service the first and third Sundays of the month. Rehearsals (September through June) are on Thursdays from 6:30 - 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary.

Handbell Choir

The "Glory Bells" ring in worship services when scheduled. Rehearsals (September through June) are on Thursdays from 7:30 - 8:30 pm in the Choir Room.

Praise Band

The "Soul Catchers" lead praise songs during the worship service the second and fourth Sundays of the month. Rehearsals (September through June) are on Sundays at 11:30 am in the Sanctuary and through the summer months every other Sunday.

Children's Choir

The "Lord's Lil' Singers" sing as scheduled during the worship service and occasionally perform with the praise band. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings at 9:00 am in the Children's Music Room.

Men's Ensemble

The "Touchtones of Faith" sing on Fifth Sundays during the year. Rehearsals are scheduled around performance dates. The repertoire consists of old gospel favorites.

Ladies' Ensemble

The "Rosettes" sing various times during the year performing a variety of music. Rehearsals are scheduled around performance dates.

We welcome new members in all of our groups. No prior experience is needed, just a desire to sing and praise God through music. In addition to our groups, there are many ways to contribute to Otterbein's musical environment by singing solos, playing piano or an instrument.
